Silver is usually extracted from ore by smelting or chemical leaching. Because silver has a variety of excellent properties and a wide range of applications, silver resources have important economic value. The first choice for silver ore dressing is high-capacity magnetic separation, followed by electrostatic separation, then gravity separation, and the smallest is flotation.
Multiple models for selection, can be customized according to customer requirements.

1、 Ore crushing and screening
The main purpose of this stage is to break the large ore into smaller particles for subsequent treatment. Jaw crushers are usually used for coarse crushing, cone crushers for medium crushing, and counter roll crushers for fine crushing. Medium and small silver concentrators mostly adopt two-stage and one closed-circuit crushing process, while large silver ore concentrators may adopt three-stage and one closed-circuit crushing process. The vibrating screen is used to screen out ores of different particle sizes to ensure the smooth progress of the subsequent process.
2、 Grinding and classification
The crushed ore enters the grinding stage, in which the ore is further ground to the required particle size by ball mill or rod mill. The ore after grinding needs to be separated from the qualified fine ore by classification equipment, so as to enter the next beneficiation process. The classification equipment usually forms a closed-circuit grinding system with the grinding machine to ensure that the ore particle size meets the requirements.
3、 Flotation (or other mineral processing methods)
Flotation is the most critical step in the process of silver ore dressing. In this process, the silver ore particles in the pulp will be combined with flotation reagents to form floatable minerals, which will be finally separated by the flotation machine. The selection and dosage of flotation reagents have strict requirements on flotation effect. In addition to flotation method, gravity separation method or mercury mixing method can also be used according to the ore characteristics.
4、 Concentrate concentration and filtration
Through the thickener and filter, the silver ore material is further concentrated and separated, and finally the high-purity silver concentrate is obtained. This stage is very important for improving the grade and recovery of silver concentrate.
