Chromium is one of the most widely used metals in modern industry, with oxygen and iron affinity, high hardness and corrosion resistance. Chrome ore is mainly composed of iron, magnesium and chromium oxides. The elemental substance is rigid gray metal, and the ore forms are diverse. In metallurgical industry, chrome ore is mainly used to produce ferrochrome and metal chromium.
Multiple models for selection, can be customized according to customer requirements.

Then, the finely crushed ore enters the ball mill or rod mill for grinding treatment, and the ore is ground into fine powder to improve the dissociation degree of mineral monomer.
The ore after grinding is separated by particle size through vibrating screen to ensure that the mineral particles entering the next stage are uniform in size. Then, according to the properties of chromium ore and impurity composition, the appropriate beneficiation method is selected for separation. Common mineral processing methods include gravity separation, magnetic separation and flotation.
In the gravity separation process, the difference in density between chromite and other minerals is used to realize separation through jigs, shakers and other equipment. Magnetic separation uses the magnetism of chromite to separate by magnetic separator. Flotation is to make the surface of chromite particles hydrophobic by adding flotation reagents, and float up to the liquid level driven by bubbles, so as to realize the separation from gangue minerals.
The sorted chromite is dehydrated. The common dehydration equipment is vacuum filter and centrifuge to remove the excess water in the concentrate. As required, drying treatment can also be carried out to further remove moisture to meet the requirements of subsequent smelting or processing.
